Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a senior leader to drive enterprise learning and development initiatives at our Altamonte Springs campus. The role leads the Core Learning Design Team, aligning instructional design with organizational goals and ensuring scalable learning solutions.

Candidates should have 5+ years of leadership, 7+ years in learning design or online education, and hold PMP/Six Sigma/PROSCI/CPTD certifications. This on-site position requires a Master’s degree and may prefer a Doctorate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in learning design, instructional technology, or online education.
• Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, PROSCI, CPTD are required.

Responsibilities

• Leads department activities, including full human resources, cost, and financial accountability.
• Establishes strategic and operational objectives, delegating assignments to direct reports as needed.
• Oversees learning design, development, and governance processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and organizational objectives.
• Guides the design and implementation of web-based training and development of instructional materials aligned with best practices in learning technology and instructional design.
• Directs the COE Core Learning Design Team, ensuring effective support for organization-wide initiatives and providing oversight to regional and specialty instructional design teams.

Job Description

• Conducts ongoing analysis of learning outcomes and content effectiveness to inform continuous improvement.
• Cultivates relationships across regions, fostering collaboration and alignment with organizational learning objectives.
• Leads cross‑functional efforts to optimize content across the organization by identifying redundancies, eliminating duplicates, and ensuring consistency and standardization.
• Provides budget recommendations for new learning initiatives, platforms, and vendor partnerships to optimize learning outcomes.
