Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Director of Leadership Development to design and deliver an enterprise leadership and career development strategy. This senior role will oversee programs, mentorship, coaching, and early career experiences, with a focus on aligning with business strategy and future capabilities.

Location preference is Falls Church, VA, but a remote schedule may be considered. The role requires strong data-driven decision making, stakeholder management, and a track record of leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years.
• Experience leading enterprise or large-scale leadership development programs.
• Proven ability to use data and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, and executive presentation skills to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated leadership development strategy and deployment of leadership programs aligned to enterprise goals.
• Own career development resources and embed them into performance and talent processes.
• Establish enterprise mentorship strategies, including design, platforms, communications, and measurement.
• Define coaching strategy and oversee its execution.
• Set strategy for early career experiences and track outcomes using data.
• Partner with VP and HR leadership to align initiatives with business needs.
• Leverage data and feedback to improve program effectiveness and impact.
• Build a high-performing team across leadership development, career development, mentorship, coaching, and early careers.
• Coordinate with sector HR and Talent teams for integrated talent solutions.
• Oversee vendor relationships and external partnerships for development offerings.
• Steward the leadership development brand and narrative across the company.
• Establish governance, standards, and success measures for programs.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and resources for high-impact solutions.
