Forestar Group Inc. is seeking a Land Acquisitions & Entitlements Director-FG to lead the land acquisition, entitlement, and due diligence processes for a growing residential development portfolio.

This leadership role requires coordinating with landowners, attorneys, brokers, and public authorities to secure site opportunities and favorable master plans. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7-10 years of applicable experience including at least 5 years of supervisory experience in residential real estate.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate all land acquisition and entitlement activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with private development community and authorities.
• Negotiate acquisition of properties with landowners, attorneys, or brokers.
• Prepare land valuation analyses and development budgets including estimates.
