Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director of US Thought Leader Engagement and Development in U.S. Medical Aesthetics. You will execute the annual KOL strategy, manage relationships with KOLs and emerging accounts, and partner with sales leadership to select and plan KOL activities across the area.

You will drive educational programs, align market support with product strategy, and collaborate with marketing, communications, and commercial teams to advance Allergan Aesthetics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10 or more years of sales and/or marketing management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Create KOL plans in coordination with strategic and marketing plans for US Medical Aesthetics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, AHCPs, and leadership teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on KOL tactical programs.
• Attend key society meetings and coordinate KOL attendees.
• Liaise for KOL communications at major medical meetings and identify upcoming events.
• Build and maintain KOL tracking platforms and data.
