Job summary

AbbVie’s Allergan Aesthetics in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Director to lead the US Thought Leader Engagement and Development for U.S. Medical Aesthetics.

You will shape and execute the annual KOL strategy and manage relationships with key opinion leaders and targeted accounts to support the marketing plan. Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Institute, Strategic Communications, and Sales to develop and communicate high‑quality market education, VIPs, speakers, and advocates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required; Master’s degree preferred
• 10 or more years of sales and/or marketing management experience
• Thorough knowledge of the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities

• Execute the annual KOL strategy for the designated Area
• Partner with sales leadership to select and manage KOLs
• Plan and execute education programs for KOLs and AHCPs
• Collaborate with Marketing, Strategic Communications, and other teams
• Develop long-term relationships and advocacy for Allergan Aesthetics
• Travel 75%+
