Job summary

Blue Nile seeks a Director of Category Management, Jewelry to own strategy, performance and evolution of jewelry categories, leading assortment architecture, pricing, and lifecycle management.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver growth, optimize product mix, and drive revenue and margins while delivering an inspiring customer experience.

This role requires 8–12+ years merchandising experience and a proven ability to translate insights into actionable category plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Analytics, Marketing or a related field.
• 8-12+ years’ experience in merchandising and category management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel/SQL/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Own category vision, strategy and performance for jewelry categories.
• Develop multi-year category strategies and determine assortment architecture.
• Analyze performance by category, style and price point to identify opportunities.
• Lead lifecycle management, product development and newness initiatives.
• Collaborate with Planning, Finance, Marketing and Retail to drive results.
