Job summary

Blue Nile in New York is seeking a Manager of Category Management, Designers and Collections to drive day-to-day strategy, performance, and evolution of the Blue Nile assortment. This role combines merchant instincts, diamond and product knowledge, customer understanding and analytical rigor to optimize assortment, pricing, collaborations and new product.

The manager will own category-level analysis and execution across assortment, inventory and product lifecycle, partnering with Demand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, economics, analytics or related field.
• Strong merchandising experience with data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own category strategy and day-to-day performance with cross-functional partners.
• Translate category strategies into actionable assortment, pricing and product plans.
• Balance breadth with curated, intentional point of view for the brand.
• Collaborate with Site Merchandising, Marketing, Technology and Retail on on-site and in-store presentation.
• Set product priorities for category pages, search, and storytelling across channels.
• Develop briefs for new products and drive launches from concept to post-launch analysis.
