Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Director IT Sourcing to develop and execute IT sourcing and vendor management strategies. This role partners with senior IT leaders to align sourcing with business objectives and manage critical supplier contracts.

The position is hybrid, based in Newton, MA with 3 onsite days weekly. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of IT sourcing experience; salary range includes $122,000–$150,000 plus bonus and RSUs where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of contracts for programs and key suppliers.
  • Lead negotiations for enterprise initiatives within timelines and scope.
  • Develop category strategies aligned to technology strategy.
  • Socialize procurement policy and ensure adherence across project teams.
  • Drive market research to identify suppliers and favorable terms.
  • Provide management information on savings, RFPs, renewals and status.

Step into a role as the Director IT Sourcing where you will be responsible for supporting developing and executing IT sourcing and vendor management strategies, processes and tools. Whether you’re caring for children or powering the systems and partnerships that make it all possible, at Bright Horizons, you’re the difference.This is a hybrid role in our Newton, MA office and requires 3x of onsite work weekly.Responsibilities:Depending on the line of business, the position may perform some or all of the below functions:Manage full lifecycle of contracts for assigned programs, project and key suppliersPro-actively manage contract and license renewalsBuild and foster collaborative working relationships with Department VPs, PMO and other key stakeholders within the IT organizationSuccessfully lead negotiations for enterprise initiatives meeting the timelines, scope, and requirements agreed upon with key stakeholdersAssist in developing a category strategy which supports the overall technology strategySocialization and facilitation of the Procurement policy and processes, ensuring that the project teams and stakeholders understand the policy and adhere to it accordinglySupport improvement in processes, policy, systems, and reportingTimely and frequent submission of management information, including RFP/Contract Negotiation/Renewal status and savings reportingFacilitation of any needed market research to identify potential suppliers, ensure competitive pricing and terms, etcDevelopment of sourcing strategy and execution, ensuring stakeholder engagement and driving performance management for key vendorsAct as an individual contributor and trusted business advisor - managing multiple complex transactions directly or indirectly and working closely with senior IT leaders to deliver successful resultsWorking closely with legal to minimize contractual risks to Bright Horizons while demonstrating year over year improvement in pricingMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree is required10 years of experienceBring your leadership skills and passion for early childhood education to Bright Horizons, where you’ll foster an enriching environment for children, families, and staff. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
