Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to shape scalable digital experiences across web and mobile. This Hybrid role requires in-person work 3 days a week at our Newton, MA headquarters.

You will develop both front-end and back-end for web/mobile applications, collaborating with internal and vendor teams to support multiple business lines. Responsibilities include documenting technical requirements, providing design feedback, and delivering clear demos to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of development experience with backend and frontend.
  • Experience with .NET Core/.NET, C#, REST APIs and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5/CSS/SCSS and testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure PAAS/SAAS resources and CI/CD (Azure Pipelines).
  • Knowledge of OAuth/OIDC, SAML/SSO; microservices and micro-front-end architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on development in web and mobile initiatives.
  • Develop frontend and backend for web/mobile apps with hybrid internal/vendor teams.
  • Collaborate with Business Owners and Business Analysis teams to create requirements.
  • Document technical requirements and specifications for web/mobile apps.
  • Provide feedback on technical designs and approaches to meet business needs.
  • Communicate project status to leadership and conduct demos tailored to audiences.

The Senior Full Stack Developers plays a key role in shaping modern, scalable digital experiences across web and mobile. Whether you’re caring for children or powering the systems and partnerships that make it all possible, at Bright Horizons, you’re the difference.This Hybrid role requires in-person work 3 days a week at our Newton, MA headquarters.Responsibilities:Provide hands-on development in the application development, unit test, and rollout of strategic web and Mobile initiatives.Develop both front-end and back-end for web/mobile applications, working with a hybrid internal/vendor team, to support various lines of business and functional areasWork with Business Owners and Business Analysis teams, to create business requirements.Document technical requirements and technical specifications for Web/Mobile applications (and related integrated solutions) and provide technical solutions to support those needs.Provide feedback (and approval) on technical designs and methods to support business requirements.Effectively communicate relevant project planning and status information to leadership/management.Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized demos/presentations that are effectively tailored to the intended audience, as needed.Minimum Requirements:5+ years of development experience requiredBachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science or related field. 3 years of additional experience would be considered in lieu of degree.Experience in back-end development using .NET core/ .NET, C#, Unit test, REST API, SQL Server.Experience in front-end development using Angular, HTML5, SCSS/CSS, Typescript or JavaScript, Unit test framework such as Jasmine, Jest, NgRx, RxJS, material design/Bootstrap.Experience using Azure PAAS and SAAS resources like Azure Service Bus, Key Vault, Azure Data Factory, Azure Pipelines, Azure Storage, Dynatrace, or AppInsight.Preferred Requirements:5+ years of experience in the Microsoft Technology stackKnowledge of front-end code quality tools like ESLint, Prettier, SonarQube, RESTful API design and client consumption, Micro-front-end Architecture, Angular SSR.Knowledge of Parallel programming, Cosmos DB, Redis/Distributed cache, Asp.net, RabbitMQ.Knowledge of AKS, Microservice Architecture and event driven architecture, Chatbot, APIM.Experience using Azure DevOps /GIT based source control systems.Knowledge of OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SSO.Strong experience with building and maintaining a reusable component library.Experience with maintaining and improving an existing codebase, focusing on improving performance, scalability, and user experience.Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinker.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and business partners.Passion for emerging technologies such as AI Assisted/Agentic developmentAt this time, Bright Horizons will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization/visa for this position.The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $151,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
