This is a remote position.

Job Summary

CommonSpirit is seeking a Director of Epic Applications. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, subject-matter expert, and escalation point for the system and staff. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships, strategic planning, and issue resolution. You will collaborate with strategic partners in business units and the Information Technology department to develop roadmaps. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope and budget, and develop strategies to enhance patient safety and user satisfaction. Leading a team across multiple applications and standardizing workflows and builds will be key. You will also drive long-term planning and annual budgeting for strategic and tactical investments.

The ideal candidate will have progressive management experience with staff and budget responsibilities, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both executives and operational teams. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are essential to drive program delivery, strategy, and success metrics. Experience with complex Epic projects, programs, and implementations is required. Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multi-stakeholder decisions is also necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred
• Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Experience managing senior client relationships
• Experience with Epic implementations or operational support
• At least 8 years of leadership experience in a healthcare environment
• Proven ability to lead large, complex, high-visibility projects and programs

Pay Range

$68.76 - $99.70 per hour
