The Director of IT Architecture and Compliance is responsible for guiding the organization in making strategic IT investments that balance operational demands with long-term goals. This role provides expertise in enterprise and data architecture, principles, roadmaps, and technological recommendations. The position oversees change and release management activities to ensure successful deployment of software and hardware updates, and works to enhance quality assurance and quality control testing strategies within the organization.

Key responsibilities include recognizing and communicating the benefits of IT architecture and governance, establishing and enforcing system policies, managing budgets, and leading initiatives for enterprise architecture creation and maintenance. The role involves promoting architectural standards to leadership, aligning projects with architectural goals, and managing vendor relationships.

Additional duties involve planning and overseeing testing activities, analyzing deployment strategies to minimize business impact, and advising leadership on technological impacts on strategic objectives. The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in a related field, with a master's preferred, and have over ten years of IT experience, including managing large projects and ERP systems, along with leadership experience and knowledge of enterprise architecture, QA/QC, and ITIL.
