Job summary

HYLAN Group seeks a P&L‑minded leader to launch and scale HYLAN’s data center ISP program in the Sterling market. You will own delivery excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction across multiple concurrent projects while building a high‑performing team and repeatable delivery model.

You will stand up ISP field operations playbooks, recruit and develop talent, engage with hyperscale and enterprise operators, and drive continuous improvement through standard kits and digital reporting.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in structured cabling/data center builds with 3+ years leading field teams or programs.
• Proven record delivering ISP scopes in live/greenfield data centers for hyperscaler/colocation clients.
• Fluency in TIA/EIA standards, test/certification, and documentation best practices.
• Financial acumen: estimating, margin management, risk mitigation, and change‑order strategy.
• Strong client‑facing presence; able to represent HYLAN with executives and site leadership.
• Manufacturer certifications (CommScope/Corning, etc.) strongly preferred; OSHA-30, PMP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery from pre‑con through closeout: estimating support, staffing plans, scheduling, materials, QA/QC, and handover.
• Stand up ISP field operations playbooks: MOP/SOP templates, labeling standards (TIA‑606), test & certification workflows, photo and as‑built requirements.
• Recruit, develop, and retain ISP talent (techs/leads/estimators); implement training ladders and safety culture (OSHA compliance).
• Direct customer engagement with hyperscale and enterprise operators; manage SLAs, scorecards, and executive readouts.
• Coordinate with GC, electrical, OSP, and data center operations for integrated delivery; resolve field escalations.
• Forecast labor and materials; manage margins, WIP, and change orders in partnership with finance and PMO.
• Drive continuous improvement—standard kits, prefab opportunities, tool control, and digital reporting (photos, dailies, SiteTracker/Sage).
