Job summary

Verizon is seeking a senior leader to guide the strategic development, system engineering, and delivery of next-generation IP video products including Fios TV+, Stream TV, and third-party OTT partner solutions.

You will lead video and OTT product delivery across fiber and wireless networks, formulating migration strategies from legacy QAM to IPTV, while driving cost reductions and coordinating large-scale customer trials to ensure launch readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Ten or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training.
Experience in video product management, systems engineering, or leading technical product trials.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Video Engineering, or an MBA is an additional qualification.
Extensive experience managing legacy QAM-to-IPTV subscriber migrations and modernizing core video distribution networks.
Success developing, launching, and scaling modern video and streaming solutions across fiber and wireless networks.
Experience leading large-scale customer trial programs, beta testing, and customer feedback loops.
Experience managing media processing, content delivery networks, and DRM security in high-throughput video streaming environments.
Experience collaborating with external video technology providers, software vendors, and content partners

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic development, system engineering, and delivery of next-generation IP video products.
Lead video and OTT product delivery across fiber and wireless networks.
Formulate and execute the long-term technical migration strategy from legacy QAM networks to modern IPTV platforms.
Drive infrastructure cost reductions through subscriber migration.
Provide people leadership for the Systems & Core Connectivity function within Verizon's Product & Revenue organization.
Lead teams through large-scale technical transformations involving legacy hardware and modern IPTV systems.
Lead large-scale customer trials, beta testing, and customer feedback loops to ensure product launch readiness.
Manage media processing, content delivery networks, and DRM security in high-throughput streaming environments.
Collaborate with external video technology providers, software vendors, and content partners on media integrations.
Combine technical design with commercial strategy to deliver seamless customer experiences across devices and platforms
