Job summary

Verizon seeks a senior engineer/manager to lead a team of engineers and project managers in fiber optic design, engineering, and implementation. You will drive growth-oriented network projects, analyze data, and coordinate across multiple business lines to deliver reliable transport networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on Outside Plant Engineering functions and systems.
• Analyze data, coordinate regional input, report results, and recommend strategic programs.
• Engage with Engineering Support and IT to implement system fixes and enhancements.
• Lead special projects to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee SOW contract management and vendor engagement for pricing and quality.
