Job summary

SDL Search Partners helps a world-class firm hire a Director, Business Systems to lead the Investor Relations technology team. You will drive CRM-to-fund-accounting integrations, relationship intelligence tools, and AI-enabled automation for fundraising, LP servicing, and investor reporting.

You will manage onshore analysts and offshore developers, aligning solutions with business goals, vendors, and governance processes. Strong IR domain knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of business/systems analysis experience in buy-side/asset management or alternative investment firms with Investor Relations or fundraising focus.
• Experience leading onshore/offshore teams and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
• Proven track record in CRM, DDQ, email marketing, investor onboarding, LP portal, and reporting/analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and testing for global fundraising and investor relations needs.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Oversee applications supporting IR, including Salesforce CRM, data lake analytics, deal CRM, fund closing and LP reporting workflows.
• Partner with fundraising, client relations, legal, and finance to align technology with business goals; manage budget and vendor contracts.
