NYU Langone Health invites applications for a Director, Interventional Cardiology. The role leads financial oversight, operational management, and strategic program development for the cardiac cath lab across the Manhattan campus and system-wide.

Partnership across clinical and administrative leaders to drive service improvements is essential. Required qualifications include a master's degree in business or health admin with 3-5 years in related roles.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, health administration or related field with 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Thorough understanding of financial management functions for academic programs and physician group practice arrangements.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate knowledge of the organization's Service Standards and incorporate them into performance of duties and expectations of team members.
• Oversees personnel and process for procedure intake and scheduling, including insurance authorizations and clinical clearance in partnership with FGP/private practice physicians.
• Interfaces with Hospital APP leadership and cath lab designated APP manager to coordinate appropriate APP support for lab activities and workflows.
• Works in partnership with Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Manager and Medical Director to assure highest level quality in service provision and continual improvements to such, facilitated by the Hospitals HRO structures.
• Working with compliance and revenue cycle leadership, optimizes documentation and coding contributions to revenue realization, including during introduction of new technologies and therapies.
