Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our established team in Suffolk County, Long Island.

You will provide 24-hour STEMI and non-invasive call coverage, participate in inpatient rounding, and manage urgent cath needs with APP support, while maintaining a patient-centered, community-based care approach. This role offers opportunities to influence program development and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible to practice cardiology in New York and board-certified/board-eligible in interventional cardiology.
• Experience with STEMI and invasive/interventional cath procedures is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour STEMI and non-invasive call coverage, including weekend duties.
• Manage urgent cath needs and participate in inpatient rounding with APP support.
• Cover interventional and non-invasive calls on assignment dates and maintain daily patient volume.
• Contribute to a stable, community-based cardiovascular program with strong referral patterns.
