Job summary

Mars Global Services (MGS) is seeking a Director of Internal Communications to shape and deliver strategic narratives that engage Associates with the MGS vision and transformation agenda. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the MGS Leadership Team, translating complex business and organizational changes into clear, compelling narratives that drive understanding, alignment, and action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 15+ years' experience in communications and change management in agency or in-house.
• Experience leading global change communications programs in a multi-layered and matrixed environment.
• Experience building trust and managing relationships with senior leadership.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, strong presentation capabilities.
• Passion for technology and experience leveraging AI/GenAI in responsible ways that drive great content.
• Understanding of latest trends, data and measurement in internal communications.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-paced org and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong strategic agility and ability to apply enterprise-wide thinking.
• Drive for results with strong prioritization and project management skills.
• Confidence to share new ideas and ways of working.
• Strong influencer and relationship-builder.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Communications Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with MGS priorities and the MGS 2030 Vision.
• Transformation & Change Communications: Lead communications for large-scale business and organizational transformations.
• Executive & Leadership Communications: Serve as lead communications advisor to the President of MGS and other senior executives.
• Associate Engagement: Develop programs that strengthen Associate connection to Mars Purpose and MGS priorities.
• Content, Channels & Communications Operations: Oversee content strategy across channels and establish governance and measurement frameworks.
• Team & Agency Leadership: Manage external agency relationships and communications budgets.
