Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks a visionary Director of Instinct Stack Architecture to lead architecture strategy across hardware, firmware, system software, security, reliability, and platform management for AI and HPC products.

You will define scalable architectures, align roadmaps, drive governance, and guide a high‑performing team of architects across multiple engineering verticals in a hybrid Austin setting.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in datacenter GPU, AI accelerator, HPC, or platform architecture.
• Experience across hardware, firmware, system software, security, and reliability.
• Proven leadership of architecture teams in multi-domain programs.
• Demonstrated success influencing executives and senior technical leaders in a matrixed engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of RAS, telemetry, serviceability, and platform resiliency.
• Proven history delivering complex products from concept to production.

Responsabilités

• Define and own long-term architecture strategy and roadmap for Instinct across domains.
• Drive architectural alignment across RAS, system software, security, platform management.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance models.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical decisions for next-generation Instinct platforms.
• Ensure architecture scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of architects across verticals.
