Qualifications include a Masters degree, NY licensure, and Certification in Infection Control or eligibility, plus 3–5 years of infection control and 3 years in management. Travel to CH sites will be required; a strong leadership and collaboration mindset is essential.

Formación

• Masters degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Current NY licensure applicable to degree.
• Certification in infection control or eligible for certification.
• Three (3) years of infection control experience in an acute care setting.
• Five (5) years clinical experience.
• Three (3) years management experience.
• Emergency preparedness experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program for Catholic Health with matrix oversight across ministries.
• Budgeting and staffing determination to support the program.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards from CDC, CMS, DOH, Joint Commission, OSHA, and others.
• Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff through prevention and risk-reduction interventions.
• Lead activities in case finding, surveillance, data analysis and interpretation, reporting, education, consultation and recommendations.
