The Suddath Companies is seeking an experienced Director of Construction & Project Management to lead planning, design, construction, and delivery of industrial and commercial real estate projects across multiple markets. This senior role collaborates with the VP of Real Estate and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Real Estate Development.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction/development projects.
• 7+ years of industrial real estate development experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or flex-industrial projects preferred.
• PMP, CCM, LEED or other relevant certifications is preferred.
• Travel: Less than 30% required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and risk mitigation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee project planning and development from due diligence to occupancy.
• Coordinate due diligence activities (environmental studies, surveys, geotechnical investigations, and utility evaluations).
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and budget forecasts.
• Manage bidding with General Contractors and review construction plans for scope satisfaction.
• Direct architects, engineers, and consultants through planning and design processes.
• Coordinate utility and infrastructure requirements with applicable agencies.
• Monitor safety, quality, and budget performance during construction.
• Coordinate inspections, punch-list completion, and occupancy approvals; transfer to property management.
