Job summary

Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) invites an accomplished fundraiser to lead its individual giving initiatives, balancing strategy with hands-on cultivation of donors at the $1,000+ level. This role sits on a growing development team and reports to the Director of Development.

You will build and manage an alumni relations plan, parent engagement strategy, and a donor stewardship framework while guiding events including BYSO's annual gala.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in nonprofit fundraising and donor cultivation.
• Experience planning and executing major donor programs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a small team and collaborate with volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual giving program, including annual fund and leadership gifts.
• Lead alumni relations, parent engagement, and donor stewardship.
• Plan and direct all individual donor events, including the annual gala.
• Report to the Director of Development and supervise staff.
