Child Development Schools is hiring for a Director-in-Training to become a School Director. The 3-month hands-on program includes a one-week onsite boot camp in Clayton, NC, with training in hiring, budgeting, marketing, and curriculum know-how, aiming for a permanent leadership role.

Successful completion could lead to a permanent School Director position, offering a growth path within our supportive team across 260+ centers.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training in hiring, team-building, budgeting, marketing, and curriculum basics
• Direct recruitment, training, and support for staff while maintaining state compliance
• Supervise and inspire the team, manage staffing schedules, and handle substitutes
• Build warm connections with families and staff to strengthen the community
• Host tours to welcome new families into the center
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and readiness for each school day
• Tackle administrative tasks like billing, payroll, and records with precision
• Contribute to classroom activities and daily operations as needed
