The Head of HR Operations is a transformational leader responsible for designing and executing scalable HR processes that enhance the employee experience. This role is focused on process improvement, optimizing operational efficiency, and implementing best practices to support organizational growth. As a strategic partner, the Head of HR Operations will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver impactful people solutions.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibiities:

  • Lead the People Operations function, focusing on scalable processes that enhance employee engagement.
  • Champion a seamless employee experience by overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, from welcoming new hires to thoughtful offboarding, while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and a high level of support throughout each stage.
  • Build and lead a best-in-class HR Operations team by leveraging innovative HR technology and systems to optimize processes while driving customer services through high-touch, approachability and accessibility to employees at all levels.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a global job architecture that not only ensures consistency and compliance but also drives employee engagement through transparent career progression and clear growth opportunities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop and implement change management and organizational design initiatives.
  • Provide expertise in planning and executing large-scale organizational changes and interventions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by aligning change strategies with business objectives.
  • Design, manage, and continuously enhance compensation programs by developing a clear compensation philosophy that embraces transparency, equity, and fairness, fostering trust and engagement across the organization.
  • Lead the participation in salary surveys and analyze market data to inform compensation strategies.
  • Design and oversee the administration of comprehensive benefits programs, proactively identifying diverse options that align with the unique needs of a dynamic and inclusive workforce.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of the HRIS (Dayforce), identifying opportunities to enhance system functionality, streamline HR processes, and improve employee experience.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that measure the effectiveness of HR programs, ensuring alignment with the company’s breakthrough objectives to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations, including policy updates and training programs.
  • Manage compliance reporting and ensure adherence to legal standards related to workforce management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance issues and risk mitigation.
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.

  • Must model the highest degree of moral and ethical behavior and maintain confidential information.
  • High degree of autonomy and strong decision-making skills.

Quality Requirements:

  • Ensure compliance with all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations in all aspects of your work.
  • Adhere to established procedures and protocols, prioritize continuous training and skill development, and uphold the highest standards of data integrity to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Working Environment:

Onsite Employees: Employee will work with moderate noise level. Employee will perform tasks while experiencing numerous interruptions. Employee may travel by car and airplane to work at different locations and may occasionally be required to travel overnight. The work environment is fast paced. This position has the utmost responsibility for adherence with the rules and regulations regarding a compliant environment relative to their actions and conduct. Off-shift, weekend and overtime duties may be required. While performing the job duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use English written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 14+ years of experience in HR, Organization Development, Talent Management
  • 5+ years’ experience building, leading and developing a direct team and indirect team
  • BA/BS degree or additional 4 years’ experience
  • An MA/MS degree preferred (and may substitute for 2 years of experience)
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing change management strategies and plans.
  • Experience in facilitating global mobility
  • Demonstrated success in leading mergers/ acquisitions including data room review, risk identification and mitigation, employee program, policies, and benefits harmonization, and on-boarding.
  • Cross-cultural and cross- geography experience, especially supporting organizations in the EU and China.
  • Versatility in using human capital analytics

  • Constantly required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment

  • Frequently required to communicate with others

Special Working Conditions:
