Hyve Solutions, a US-based manufacturer, seeks an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead talent strategy, compliance, and people programs across sites. You'll partner with senior leadership to shape policies, drive workforce planning, and foster a high-performance culture.

The role oversees HR, staffing and recruitment, manages compensation, benefits, and employment law knowledge, including California regulations. Travel to Hyve locations is required.

Qualifications

  • BS in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10 years HR management experience, with 2 years in manufacturing preferred.
  • 5+ years in management and mentoring HR Department.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of California labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale HR functions from the ground up.
  • Analytical and proactive approach to HR challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to plan, direct, and coordinate HR policies and staff.
  • Lead HR, Staffing and Recruitment teams in daily operations and alignment.
  • Oversee daily workflow of HR departments.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing site leaders on culture and workflows.
  • Communicate policy changes and HR resources to senior leadership.
  • Analyze organizational trends from HRIS data to drive decisions.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, leave, investigations, and talent management.
  • Plan and implement HR initiatives and compliance programs.

Director, Human Resources

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $141,000-$180,800K annually.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs

Responsibilities
  • The HR Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership to plan, facilitate, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate policies, activities, and staff to attract and retain top talent.
  • The HR Director will lead our HR, Staffing and Recruitment teams in day-to-day operations, driving excellence and consistency throughout the organization.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of human resources departments.
  • Collaborates with leaders across manufacturing sites to guide, and align with communications, culture, and workflows.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior leadership.
  • Leads the HR team in conducting research and analysis of organizational trends including the review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information systems (HRIS)
  • Guides and administers human resource programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
  • Helps plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Manages discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to identify and implement the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Travels as needed to other Hyve locations.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • BS in Human Resources or years of experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR management, with a minimum of 2 years Manufacturing preferred.
  • Over 5+ years of experience in management and mentoring HR Department.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of California labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building effective work relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale HR functions from the ground up.
  • Innovative and proactive approach to addressing HR challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong skills in analysis and problem-solving.
