Zusammenfassung

Torus, Inc. seeks a Director of HSE & Facilities to drive strategic programs across health, safety, environment, and facilities operations at its Salt Lake City locations. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage budgets, and champion sustainability while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include developing policies, overseeing maintenance and capital projects, and coordinating with senior leadership to meet business objectives and safety targets.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HSE, facilities management, or both.
• 5+ years in a leadership/management role with multi-site responsibility.
• Proven ability to build and sustain a strong safety culture with measurable results.
• Experience managing capital projects and budgets of $5M+ and cross-functional teams.
• Expert knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety).
• Proficiency with CMMS, EHS software, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Strong project management, prioritization, and data-driven decision making.
• Financial acumen for budget development, cost analysis, and resource allocation.
• Crisis management and decision-making under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Lead the HSE & Facilities team and oversee development of budgets and strategic plans.
• Manage communications with senior leadership on HSE performance, facilities status, and budgets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align HSE and facilities with business objectives.
• Develop and implement HSE policies and regulatory compliance programs.
• Foster safety culture, incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and CAPAs.
• Oversee environmental compliance, including air quality, waste, and sustainability.
• Direct facilities maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Lead capital improvements and new construction projects with scope and timelines.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors for maintenance, security, and services.
• Ensure ADA, building, and fire codes compliance; manage space planning and security.
