Job summary

Boston Medical Center in the United States seeks a strategic Director, HRIS to lead the HR technology ecosystem. You will drive Workday optimization, governance, and system integration across HR platforms while leading a team of eleven professionals.

The role partners with HR, Finance, and Operations to design scalable, user-centered solutions, improve data integrity, and advance enterprise-wide HRIS processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, HR, business administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HRIS or HR technology experience with leadership.
• Deep expertise in Workday (optimization and governance).
• Experience with UKG or similar workforce management systems.
• Proven success in leading large-scale system optimization and transformation.
• Strong project management and process design experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive HRIS strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Lead ongoing optimization of Workday and governance for system changes.
• Oversee UKG workforce management to meet operational needs and compliance.
• Design standardized HRIS workflows and partner with COEs to standardize processes.
• Lead a high-performing team of eleven HRIS professionals and develop capabilities.
• Drive change management and transformation initiatives across HRIS.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, security, and finance to ensure governance and delivery.
• Lead a portfolio of HRIS projects with clear roadmaps and metrics.
