THE ROLE

We're looking for a talented and highly collaborative leader with a service-oriented mindset to join our Global HR team as HR Director. In this exciting new opportunity, the HR Director, reporting to the Head of HR Global Functions, will provide support to our Global Functions. The role is designed to support the execution of Circle K strategies and ensure human resource management aligns with corporate policies, employee relations, development guidelines, and Circle K values.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an HR Director, you will have end-to-end responsibility for HR support for managers and employees in Global Functional teams, as well as supporting the executive leadership of these departments. Your responsibilities include supporting organizational changes at global, regional, and local levels. Key duties include:

  1. Supporting business leaders in developing and executing HR priorities that enable business goals and foster our Circle K culture.
  2. Providing strong leadership and global collaboration, advising and working across all levels of leadership, supporting senior leadership on strategic HR matters.
  3. Maintaining business relationships by understanding strategies and operations, attending meetings, assisting with presentations, explaining policies, and providing viable alternatives.
  4. Initiating and building a positive culture focused on engagement, strengths-based leadership, and regular feedback.
  5. Raising HR issues on management agendas and in correspondence.
  6. Supporting managers in change processes or projects impacting people.
  7. Leading employer branding initiatives and recruitment processes to attract top talent.
  8. Coaching and training managers to support a values-based culture and team development.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  2. Experience with Workday and labor relations is preferred.
  3. A confident HR professional profile with solid internal HR partnering experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Ability to identify organizational needs and act accordingly.
  5. Service-mindedness and a proactive, 'can do' attitude.
  6. Strong presentation and facilitation skills for groups of various sizes, with the ability to engage and inform.
  7. Experience handling personnel and grievance matters, with effective risk assessment skills.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
