Job summary

Headway is seeking a Director, HR Business Partner to lead a team of HR Business Partners and act as a strategic partner to senior executives. You will shape people strategies that enable rapid scale, strengthen leadership, and drive top-tier performance across the organization.

You will coach leaders, design scalable org structures, and guide performance and talent reviews. This role requires strategic vision, data-driven decision making, and a track record of partnering with c-suite executives

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience in HR or HR-adjacent roles, preferably in high-growth environments.
Experience partnering with C-suite executives (CRO, CCO, CPO, COO) and their leadership teams.
Proven ability to shape people strategy, organizational design, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of HR Business Partners and serve as a strategic thinker and partner to executives.
Shape and execute people strategies that enable scale, strengthen leadership, and drive high performance.
Counsel on organizational design, performance management, talent planning, and leadership development.
Use data-driven insights to identify trends, influence decisions, and drive measurable improvements in organizational health.
Lead cross-functional HR initiatives from scoping to execution with accountability and impact.
