Job summary

ASHP, an association of pharmacy professionals, seeks a Director of Human Resources Operations in a hybrid role for the Washington, DC area. The base salary ranges from $130,000 to $147,500 with a comprehensive benefits plan, and the role requires collaboration with the CHRO and the HR team.

Responsibilities include overseeing payroll and audits, benefits administration, retirement plan oversight, and performance management. This role is not Visa-sponsor eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• Five years of payroll experience.
• Five years of benefits administration experience, preferably in an association environment.
• Three years of experience as a Human Resource Manager.
• High regard for confidentiality of information.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral presentation skills.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with major payroll vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversees payroll processing and manages annual payroll audits.
• Manages benefit administration, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Counsels employees on health and welfare plans and liaises with carriers.
• Manages retirement plan audits and Form 5500 filings.
• Administers performance reviews and annual bonus calculations.
• Guides supervisors through performance processes and HR operations.
• Develops office goals with the CHRO and improves HR processes.
