Hersha Hotels & Resorts seeks a Director of Business Intelligence – Asset Management to optimize performance across a portfolio of hotel investments. You will partner with operators, lenders, and JV partners to shape asset-level outcomes and drive value through strategic data insights.

The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, robust hotel economics knowledge, and strong financial modeling skills to influence capital planning and operational decisions across assets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in hotel asset management, hospitality investment, or PE real estate.
• Entrepreneurial orientation with ability to act independently and drive value.
• Fluency in hotel economics: RevPAR to NOI and cost/revenue levers.
• Experience working with branded and third‑party operators.
• Strong financial modeling and underwriting capabilities.
• Executive presence and effective communication with senior stakeholders.
• Genuine passion for the hospitality business and markets.

Responsibilities

• Revenue & Rate Strategy: diagnose asset needs and build plans to achieve targets.
• Operational Excellence: benchmark and analyze financial data, improve rate/mix, control costs.
• Competitive Positioning: identify white space and translate insights into property strategies.
• Asset Intelligence: connect patterns to forecast asset health.
• Reporting & Governance: structure weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews and governance.
• Capital Planning: support ROI-driven capital investment theses for assets.
