Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a senior facilities leader to direct the Hospital Plant and associated facilities 24/7. You will oversee a team of engineers, electricians, plumbers, and technicians, ensuring reliable operations, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role includes budgeting, project oversight, and development of preventive maintenance and energy conservation plans, with collaboration across departments and leadership to optimize building performance.

Qualifications

• 15 years' experience in the field.
• 10 years in project management/team management role.
• Bachelor Professional Degree in either Engineering or Architecture.
• Registered Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent experience (> 12 Years)

Responsibilities

• Direct and control the Hospital Plant, surrounding administrative buildings, and some Outpatient Facilities 24/7/365.
• Plan, direct, budget, financially manage, and coordinate all aspects of plant engineering and maintenance.
• Supervise a team of +/- 40 individuals, including electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, carpenters, PM mechanics, licensed stationary engineers, and general maintenance and plant operations.
• Develop predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and operations budgets.
• Develop a conservation plan around the use of power, gas, and steam; educate staff on energy conservation.
