University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Director, Environmental Services to lead enterprise custodial and environmental hygiene programs across inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will develop strategy, budgets, staffing models, and performance systems reporting to the Chief Facilities Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of healthcare EVS leadership.
• Experience leading an EVS department/division in multi-site or large facilities.
• Ability to obtain CHESP within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Develops EVS strategy, budgets, staffing models, and KPIs.
• Oversees daily EVS operations for patient care units, ORs, clinics, and public spaces.
• Ensures infection prevention/regulatory readiness (CMS/TJC) and environmental safety.
• Manages staffing, onboarding, training, and cross-functional change management.
• Oversees contracts, supplies, and vendor performance; evaluates operating models.
