Job summary

The Director, Homeland Identity Intelligence Center at DHS Headquarters in Washington, DC leads a multi-faceted identity intelligence program within I&A. The role oversees screening, vetting, watchlisting, and digital media exploitation to support homeland security decisions.

Responsibilities include managing a multi-million-dollar budget, guiding long-range plans, and coordinating with subordinate managers to ensure timely execution while adapting to changes in funding and policy.

Responsibilities

• Manages a complex organization with a multi-million-dollar budget and drives multi-year work plans to execute the HI2C mission.
• Oversees the implementation of long-range plans, goals, and objectives of the work directed.
• Establishes operational plans and procedures to respond to changes in appropriations or other legislative changes and manages operational changes throughout the organization.
• Oversees the process for reviewing, evaluating, and analyzing large quantities of intelligence and information from various sources and advises senior management of emergent threats.
• Applies depth and breadth of leadership and subject matter expertise on identity intelligence challenges to improve organizational and IC performance.
• Continuously evaluates the technical capabilities landscape to identify and implement new technologies for IC impact.
