Job summary

The Office of the Secretary of Defense seeks a Director of Human Intelligence (HUMINT) and Sensitive Activities (H&SA) to lead a workforce of experts and provide policy guidance and strategic recommendations to leadership on future initiatives and capabilities.

The role oversees multi-year budgets, shapes national policy on related issues, and represents DoW and senior leaders in intelligence matters—while coordinating with DoD, IC, and foreign partners to ensure execution of high-stakes

Qualifications

• There is no education requirement for this position.
• Requires a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and execution of multi-year program budgets for assigned programs as required in accordance with DoW directives.
• Developing national policy and DoW positions on related issues.
• Representing the DoW, the Secretary of War, and USW(I&S) in matters assigned or directed.
• Developing authorities, missions, policy, oversight, and guidance to DoW and Services for assigned duty areas.
• Supervising staff to execute a broad portfolio of responsibilities across cadres, duties, and personnel.
• Overseeing highly sensitive, high-cost or high-risk programs with policy approval, funding, legal reviews, and plans.
