The role advises the CIO on risk management, policy, and compliance, providing strategic direction for information security across DHS and ensuring alignment with federal acts and directives. Telework eligible and security clearance required.

• Requires Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Serves as principal advisor to the CIO for the DHS enterprise information security program.
• Oversees risk management, policy, compliance, and oversight in alignment with DHS strategic direction.
• Leads planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information security programs and tools.
• Coordinates and enforces information security policies, standards, and guidance across DHS components.
