Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Director of Operations for Heavy Haul to provide operational leadership across projects. This role requires expertise in risk management, technical support, and equipment planning.

With a focus on safety and efficiency, the Director will oversee Heavy Haul operations, develop training initiatives, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in heavy haul transportation or related fields.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and industry best practices.
• Experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for Heavy Haul and RORO projects.
• Assist in project planning and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate maintenance and inspection schedules for Heavy Haul equipment.
• Develop Heavy Haul training initiatives for personnel.
• Support regulatory compliance and address DOT-related matters.
