Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Health Systems Value Strategy to drive portfolio-level value demonstration for orthopaedics. The role is ideally based in Raynham, MA, with remote options considered case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health economics, public health, health policy, business, life sciences, or related field.
• At least 12 years of progressive experience in health economics or market access with 3+ years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. health system economics and decision-making.
• Strong U.S. reimbursement and payment policy expertise.
• Customer-facing experience with health system executives and ability to translate evidence into solutions.
• Experience building new capabilities, programs, or functions and leading enterprise initiatives.
• Experience managing external advisory boards or executive engagement programs.
• Excellent analytical, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define the health system value strategy.
• Build evidence-based frameworks and models quantifying impact across care episodes and sites of care.
• Create portfolio-level value propositions.
• Connect evidence and reimbursement insights to a differentiated portfolio narrative.
• Lead Hospital Administrator Advisory Board and related engagements.
• Advance value-based pricing and contract insights.
• Provide reimbursement, economic, and site-of-care insights to inform pricing strategies.
• Explore outcomes-based contracting and pilot frameworks.
• Enable strategic account teams and develop training and tools for value conversations.
• Monitor health system trends and policy developments and translate them into strategies.
