Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Health Systems Value Strategy to define and drive portfolio-level value with health systems across the U.S. You will translate complex economic evidence into strategies that improve outcomes and financial performance.

You will build capabilities and advisory boards, lead value-based pricing initiatives, and collaborate across functions to deliver enterprise impact. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in health economics, public health, health policy, business, life sciences, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in health economics, market access, health systems strategy, or related discipline, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. health system economics and decision-making.
• Strong U.S. reimbursement and payment policy expertise and ability to translate coding, coverage, and site-of-care developments into business implications.
• Customer-facing experience with health system executives and ability to deliver credible, actionable solutions.
• Experience building capabilities, programs, or functions and leading enterprise initiatives.
• Experience managing external advisory boards or executive engagement programs.
• Excellent analytical and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define the health system value strategy with evidence-based frameworks and models.
• Create portfolio-level value propositions linking evidence and payer data.
• Build and lead Hospital Administrator Advisory Board with executive engagements.
• Advance value-based pricing with reimbursements and payer insights.
• Explore outcomes-based contracting and pilot frameworks with risk models.
• Enable strategic account teams with training, tools, and value guides.
• Translate health system trends and policy developments into customer strategies.
• Build governance and cross-functional collaboration across functions.
