Job summary

Premier Inc. is seeking a Director within Advisory Services to lead billable client engagements and deliver performance improvement for health system clients.

The role oversees analytics, quality assurance, budgeting, and risk management while mentoring junior consultants and driving business development. Significant domestic travel is required, with collaboration across clinical, physician, and administrative leadership to achieve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Experience in health system finance, clinical or operational performance, or decision support analytics preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional teams for outcomes.
• Strong qualitative analysis and strategic problem solving abilities.
• Travel: domestic 81-100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee data analyses, draw conclusions, and ensure QA across client deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, expenses, and profitability for engagements.
• Build and maintain client relationships across clinical, physician, and administrative levels.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop consulting staff on projects.
• Participate in business development activities including RFP responses, sales calls, and statements of work.
