Job summary

Vynca is seeking a Director of Account Management in California to lead success, growth, and retention of health plan partnerships. The role focuses on executing ECM, CS, CICM programs, and navigating CalAIM requirements to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will guide account strategy, manage cross-functional teams, and drive renewals and expansions while maintaining strong financial performance. California-based candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in account management or strategic client success with health plans government-sponsored lines.
• Experience with Medi-Cal managed care contracting and CalAIM policies is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and executive communication skills across clinical, operational, and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as relationship owner for value-based health plan partnerships.
• Build trusted relationships across multiple plan stakeholders.
• Define client priorities, population health goals, and success metrics.
• Lead account strategy and ensure delivery across complex partnerships.
• Drive renewals, expansions, and measurable client outcomes.
• Monitor performance against metrics and regulatory requirements.
• Lead monthly or quarterly business reviews with clients.
