Job summary

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene invites applications for a full-time Director of Health Justice Network (HJN). The role oversees operations, strategic planning, and clinical governance across two tracks to support justice-involved populations.

Flexibility in schedule and strong leadership are required. Responsibilities include policy development, staff management, data reporting, and collaboration with city agencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health or related field required or equivalent.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and programs.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct operational and clinical oversight of HJN, setting strategic goals according to Bureau objectives.
• Manage staff coverage, productivity, client service skills, and workload expectations for all embedded CHWs and program staff.
• Guide planning, development, and execution of both HJN tracks across New York City.
• Develop, implement, and audit evidence-based clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Provide clinical education and training for staff.
• Implement quality initiatives to enhance outcomes, clinical service delivery, and staff accountability.
• Maintain communication with partners and leadership to support program operations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to document and execute program strategies.
