Director - Health Economics Market Access (Remote)

Position Summary

The Director - Health Economics Market Access is responsible for developing and executing HEOR strategies for Caris Life Sciences' current and future products. This includes collaborating on payer and reimbursement strategies, leading research, resource development, and working cross-functionally to develop health economic value propositions. The role involves managing HEOR projects from inception to dissemination, aligning with various internal teams and external vendors, and communicating findings effectively.

Job Responsibilities

• Align with Market Access and Clinical teams to understand evidence needs.
• Develop and implement HEOR evidence strategies and publication plans.
• Lead the development of HEOR studies, including literature reviews, real-world data analyses, PRO, qualitative, and economic models.
• Manage study documentation and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Oversee budgets and timelines for external vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to support evidence generation and dissemination.
• Provide internal training on HEOR methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Public Health, MBA, or related field with 5-10+ years of industry experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of experience.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in technical and clinical information.
• Excellent project management and collaboration skills.
• Deep expertise in HEOR study design, modeling, and analysis.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings, with a willingness to travel (~25%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in outcomes-related fields or HEOR-specific education and experience.
• 8+ years in health economics and outcomes research, with clinical research background.
• Experience with retrospective data analysis, market access, and oncology therapeutics is highly preferred.

Compensation

Annual Range: $180,000 - $220,000. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and education.
