Job summary

University of Utah Health seeks a senior leader to oversee health academics space planning and project scoping, with responsibility for 3+ million square feet and a team of facility planners. You will coordinate with executives, manage schedules, and ensure alignment with business goals across Real Estate and other partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalency.
• Six years or more progressively responsible management experience.
• Master's degree in related area (preferred).
• Experience in health care, health academic and/or research space planning.
• Knowledgeable in Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Performs to required standards for job specific responsibilities and technical competencies.
• Hiring, training, developing, and communicating with staff.
• Responsible for developing, monitoring and achieving budget goals.
• Manages labor and non-labor expenses to budget or flex budget.
• Manages revenue to budget to maximize potential revenue.
• Upholds PROMISE standards of direct reports and team members.
• Achieve quality goals for assigned areas and promote continuous process improvements.
• Provide staff feedback on performance and address conflicts promptly.
