Job summary

University of Utah Health is seeking a senior leader to direct planning and execution of space planning for a large health academics portfolio. You will scope projects, coordinate with a cross-disciplinary team, and ensure alignment with institutional goals and budget constraints.

The role requires substantial experience in health care space planning, architecture knowledge, and a proven track record in guiding complex capital projects with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent.
• Six years or more progressively responsible management experience.
• Experience in health care, health academic and/or research space planning.
• Knowledgeable in Architecture.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and staff development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health academics space planning for 3+ million square feet and drive project scoping.
• Lead Health Academics Facility Planners and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop schedules, cost estimates, and design services for space projects.
• Manage budgeting, workforce planning, and alignment with university objectives.
• Foster collaboration with Real Estate, finance, and academic partners to ensure successful project delivery.
