Job summary

Dexcom seeks a Director of Product Systems & Integration to lead hardware product ownership, systems engineering, and cross-functional integration across hardware and software for CGM devices. You will ensure end-to-end traceability, manage technical risks, and guide decisions across engineering, regulatory, and operations to deliver reliable, manufacturable products.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in engineering with medical devices or regulated industries and a track record of building

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or systems teams delivering safety-critical, regulated products from concept to commercialization.
• Strong systems engineering depth in requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration, risk management, verification, and design controls.
• Practical design-for-six-sigma experience to improve robustness, requirements quality, verification, and manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product Systems & Integration organization, including Hardware Product Owners and hardware systems engineering.
• Own product-level technical ownership, requirements decomposition, and end-to-end traceability across the lifecycle.
• Direct cross-functional technical integration across software, electrical, mechanical, firmware, sensors, algorithms, and manufacturing.
• Identify and manage technical risks, system interactions, and critical tradeoffs for performance, cost, schedule, and regulatory impact.
• Establish clear accountability and governance across functions and drive evidence-based decision making.
• Build and mentor senior technical leaders and establish scalable operating models across development and sustaining programs.
