Dexcom Inc. seeks a Director, Product Systems & Integration in San Diego to lead the hardware product owners and systems engineering across software-hardware integration and product-level technical ownership.

The role requires steering integration across hardware, firmware, sensors, and manufacturing, managing risks, and delivering scalable, compliant medical devices from concept through commercialization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or systems organizations that deliver complex, safety-critical, regulated products from concept through commercialization.
• Deep systems engineering in requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration, verification strategy, and design controls.
• Practical design-for-six-sigma experience to improve robustness, verification, and manufacturing readiness.
• Experience in medical devices or highly regulated industries; wearables or transmitter systems preferred.
• Proven ability to build, mentor and lead senior technical leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Product Systems & Integration organization, including Hardware Product Owners and hardware systems engineering.
• Establish product-level technical ownership, decision rights, and operating mechanisms across multiple functions.
• Own hardware product requirements, system architecture, interfaces, decomposition and end-to-end traceability.
• Drive cross-functional technical integration across software, electrical, mechanical, firmware, sensors, and manufacturing.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and tradeoffs with clear ownership and evidence-based rationale.
• Attract, develop, and retain high-performing technical leaders and engineers.
