Job summary

Dexcom, based in San Diego, is seeking a Director of Sensor Research to lead its Sensor Design & Development group. You will shape scientific strategy, drive roadmaps for continuous and connected health sensing, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.

Reporting to the VP of Sensor R&D, you will oversee budgets, design criteria, and feasibility reviews while advancing biosensing technologies and rigorous measurement methods to improve CGM solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of industry experience.
• 9+ years of successful management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead sensing technology innovation and scientific strategy for continuous and connected health solutions.
• Define and drive long-term sensor technology roadmaps across IVD and in-vivo paradigms.
• Provide technical leadership on sensing approaches, data analysis, and experimental design.
