You will bridge advanced formulation with practical applications and drive high‑impact innovations in a global setting. The role combines leadership, technical excellence, and cross‑functional collaboration, with a hybrid work model at our Clark R&I center.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 7–10+ years in cosmetic/personal care product formulation, driving high‑impact innovations from concept to development in matrixed organizations.
• Strong foundation in formula chemistry and analytical skills, with expertise in hair care formulation and hair fiber science.
• Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing high‑performing scientific teams.
• Entrepreneurial, resilient and adaptable mindset; thrives in ambiguity and can influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects concurrently across cross‑functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex projects, ensuring on‑time and within budget delivery; define scope, timelines and resources.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all laboratory and pilot‑scale initiatives.
• Define and direct the long‑term strategic roadmap for hair care and styling; align milestones with brand ambitions.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration across global and regional partners to deliver milestones from concept to launch.
• Mentor and develop a team of scientists; foster an inclusive, high‑performing culture and continuous learning.
