Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Director of Business Development to identify growth opportunities and develop business plans that improve profitability, quality and market share across assigned entities.

The role partners with Physician Organization leadership and the CEO for medical staff development, contracts and engagement strategies, and leads marketing and community outreach initiatives to support the system brand in the local market.

Qualifications

Master's degree required.
Five years of progressively responsible staff experience, including leadership roles.
Experience in healthcare or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Directs, develops and implements strategic and operational/high level projects and processes.
Oversees management of staff, ensuring quality, productivity and engagement.
Meets/executes department turnover and engagement metrics and conducts regular staff feedback.
Identifies opportunities and builds strategic relationships to achieve business goals.
Partners with physicians, hospital leadership and community leaders to identify growth drivers and align services.
Develops and implements physician recruitment/contracting plans and onboarding processes.
